This website is written with a vision toward the future. Many methods widely used in web design up until a few years ago are being phased out by browser software, and will not be supported in a few years. Techniques were used in the design of this website to ensure future compatibility, as well as ease of modification.

More importantly, these techniques (referred to collectively as Web Standards) are intended to improve accessibility, which means that screen-reading software and other devices will be able to navigate our site and its content more easily.

Mission Statement

The Manitoba School Counsellors’ Association is dedicated to the promotion and development of guidance and counselling services for children and youth. MSCA provides a forum and a voice for those interested in promoting the personal, social, educational and career development of young Manitobans.
