Manitoba school counsellors indicate common areas in which they find themselves ethically stressed. Many of these areas relate to the delicate balance between parental responsibilities to parent and the student’s right to privacy. In this session, Lorna Martin provides a quick overview of the major ethical stressors cited by school counsellors and potential strategies for resolution. Open forum questions and answers will follow the presentation.
